Recently, Jieka Robot, as the leading drafting unit, has officially approved and released the national standard GB/T 45579-2025 "Robot Intelligent Visual Evaluation Method and Level Classification". This national standard fills the gap in the field of robot intelligence standards worldwide, providing strong guidance for improving the quality and construction of intelligent robots, and will promote the transition of China's robot industry from "functional implementation" to "intelligent classification".

National standards are the highest level standards in China's standard system. Plays a crucial role in supporting industrial development and promoting technological progress. At present, it has become a consensus in the industry to lead the strategy through standards and promote high-quality economic development through standard upgrading.
With the upgrading of global intelligent manufacturing, the maturity of robot intelligent vision has become a key benchmark for measuring the level of industrial intelligence. However, the industry is currently facing the dilemma of "having products without standards", with uneven levels of intelligence in robot products and a lack of positive development guidance in the market. This standard specifies for the first time that robot intelligent vision testing includes visual algorithm testing and whole machine testing, and defines 19 robot intelligent vision testing indicators in 5 categories including human pose estimation, face recognition, character recognition, object recognition, and safety, based on robot application requirements. The testing and calculation methods of the indicators are described in detail.
This standard is applicable to the intelligent visual evaluation of industrial robots, service robots, special robots, etc. Based on the application scenarios of robots, three types of visual intelligence levels have been innovatively defined for different types of robots, and the level requirements and judgment criteria for different intelligent projects have been clarified. This helps enterprises accurately locate product levels, clarify the baseline and improvement direction of robot intelligent vision development, promote standardized robot design and production in the upstream and downstream of the industry, and enhance the overall intelligent quality of the industry.
Collaborating with leading companies in the industry to establish national level standards for robot intelligence can establish a unified intelligent evaluation system, helping the industry objectively measure the level of robot intelligence, identify and rectify potential defects in a timely manner during the research and development stage, and improve resource utilization through a closed-loop production process of "research and development testing certification", promoting green and sustainable development of the industry.
