The 16th "Green Development and Low Carbon Life" themed dialogue, hosted by China Newsweek, was held in Beijing on June 27th. The event was themed "Embracing a Zero Carbon Future" and nearly a hundred green participants from government, industry, academia, research, and other fields worked together to promote green development and discuss a zero carbon future development path. Based on six dimensions including regulatory compliance, strategic planning, clean production, green operation, technological innovation, and environmental public welfare, as well as the company's layout for a zero carbon future and comprehensive performance in the youth circle, Delta was highly recognized by the organizers and selected as the "2025 Low Carbon Case".
As an active practitioner of green development, Delta has set an overall goal of carbon neutrality and 100% use of renewable electricity by 2030, starting from itself. As of 2024, Delta's global operating network's greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) have decreased by 53.6% compared to the benchmark year of 2021, and the utilization rate of renewable electricity has increased to 84%.

During his keynote speech, Liu Zhenmin, China's special envoy for climate change affairs, pointed out that although there is uncertainty in the multilateral process of addressing climate change, the global climate governance process will continue to move forward, and the trend of global energy transformation will not reverse. Countries around the world are full of expectations for the current global energy transition process and China's leading role. He stated that for China, green transformation is not only an internal engine for promoting high-quality development, but also a key path for building new quality productive forces. It reflects the era responsibility of a responsible major country and is an important practice for promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. The road to a "zero carbon future" is not simply about energy conservation and emission reduction or energy structure transformation, but a profound transformation that touches on production methods, lifestyles, and even ways of thinking.

Gong Honghua, general manager of Delta Group - Zhongda Telecom, said that in the new era of AI's growing development, the industry is paying more attention to "sustainable AI", which requires a more resilient power grid and a green data center with lower energy consumption as support. Zhongda Diantong leverages the deep research and development and technological capabilities of its parent company, Delta Group, to create energy-efficient and low-energy solutions in areas such as green factories, smart microgrids, AI data centers, and zero carbon parks. This includes an AI data center that uses an 800V HVDC power architecture solution, with breakthrough power supply capabilities and an energy efficiency of up to 92% from the grid end to the chip end; At the same time, in response to the high heat density challenge brought by AI servers, Delta also has complete air-cooled and liquid cooled cooling solutions; The digital energy management system utilizes energy control, network security, and reliability technologies, supplemented by AI technology, for energy management applications such as energy consumption optimization, power auxiliary services, and factory carbon emission tracking in microgrids. Its control mode and AI algorithm can accurately and automatically schedule energy, thereby optimizing energy consumption and system performance, making energy equipment assets more valuable.

Delta continues to develop innovative energy-saving products and solutions, providing efficient and reliable energy-saving integration solutions and services. From 2010 to 2023, Delta's high-efficiency products have helped customers save approximately 45.5 billion kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to reducing emissions by nearly 23.84 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. In terms of self operation, a total of 3693 energy-saving plans were implemented from 2011 to 2024, saving 459 million kilowatt hours of electricity, equivalent to reducing emissions of about 350640 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. In addition, Delta actively integrates product advantages and software and hardware technologies, focusing on areas such as electric vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, smart green buildings, energy storage, and microgrids, to provide customers with innovative, environmentally friendly, and efficient overall energy-saving solutions. From 2012 to 2024, Delta has completed 1599 successful cases worldwide.
