Types of Solenoid Valvess Available

Direct-acting solenoid valves
These types of solenoid valves use electromagnetic force to open and close the valve. Direct-acting valves can operate at very low pressure differences (differentials) and do not need a pressure difference to function.

Servo-assisted solenoid valves

These valves combine direct-acting and pressure valve components. They use the solenoid's electromagnetic force to assist in opening the valve under pressure.

Normally open (NO) solenoid valves

This valve type allows fluid to flow through the valve when the solenoid is de-energized.

Normally closed (NC) solenoid valves

Conversely, this type of valve, which include a ½ inch solenoid valve, stops fluid from passing when the solenoid is not energized.

 

Main Components
