A double chamber vacuum packaging machine uses two alternating vacuum chambers, along with a vacuum system, heat sealing device, and optional gas flushing module, to complete air removal, sealing, and gas protection. The sections below cover structure, working process, features, applications, and operating notes.

 

Core structure

Dual chamber design: two independent vacuum chambers run alternately. While one chamber pulls vacuum, the other can be loaded with bags, reducing waiting time.
Vacuum system: the vacuum pump can be domestic or imported. It quickly removes air from the bag and reaches the set vacuum level.
Heat sealing system: food grade 304 stainless steel heating bars are used. A temperature control system controls sealing temperature. Seal length covers 400 to 800 mm to ensure seal strength.
Optional gas flushing system: after vacuuming, nitrogen or other protective gas is added to reduce oxidation or crush deformation.
Cooling system: quickly cools the seal area to prevent high temperature from deforming packaging material.
Intelligent control panel: color touch screen or time relay control. Suction time, sealing temperature, and other parameters can be adjusted.

In these structures, vacuum chamber seals, heating bar bases, sealing bars, air bags, vacuum line connectors, valve bodies, chamber fixtures, conveyor rollers, and control panel brackets often need replacement or custom production by drawing. We can use stainless steel, aluminum alloy, carbon steel, or engineering plastics, control tolerances to drawing requirements, and provide surface treatments such as anodizing, blackening, nickel plating, or powder coating. This helps maintain vacuum chamber sealing, sealing pressure, and temperature stability.

 

Working process

Bag loading and cover closing: place the product in a pre-made bag, put it in either vacuum chamber, and close the chamber cover.
Vacuum stage: the vacuum pump starts and removes air from the vacuum chamber through sealed pipes. Air in the bag is removed at the same time until the set vacuum level is reached, such as -0.09 MPa. A built-in water removal device prevents moisture from entering the vacuum pump and extends service life.
Heat sealing stage: the vacuum system pauses. The heating bar heats to the set temperature and melt seals the bag mouth. A PID controller keeps temperature fluctuation within ±1°C to reduce burn-through or weak seals.
Optional gas flushing stage: if gas protection is needed, the system injects nitrogen or another inert gas to replace air in the bag.
Air return and cover opening: air enters the vacuum chamber to balance pressure. The chamber cover opens automatically, and the finished product is removed. The other vacuum chamber can then start the next cycle for continuous operation.

 

Features and advantages

The dual chamber design allows bag loading and vacuuming at the same time. Efficiency is more than 50% higher than a single chamber machine. Food grade 304 stainless steel and precise temperature control bring seal strength to 15 N/15 mm or more. The machine is compatible with plastic composite film, aluminum foil bags, and other materials. It can pack solids, liquids, and powders, such as food, medicine, and electronic components. The circuit system uses a sealed design to reduce short circuits caused by moisture. The vacuum pump has overload protection. The modular structure allows quick replacement of faulty parts and lowers maintenance cost.

Operating notes

Adjust suction time according to packaging material, usually 5 to 30 seconds, and sealing temperature from 120 to 180°C. Clean the vacuum pump filter regularly, check seal wear, and replace lubricating oil every 3 months. Do not operate in a wet environment. Avoid metal objects touching the heating bar and causing a short circuit.
