The underground detection radar antenna is the core transmitting and receiving component of the underground detection radar system. Its core function is to emit and receive radar electromagnetic waves, achieving the detection and imaging of underground media.
1. Transmitting electromagnetic waves: converting the high-frequency electrical signals generated by the radar transmitter into directional electromagnetic waves, transmitting them underground, penetrating through media such as soil, concrete, and rocks, and reaching underground targets.
2. Receive echo signals: Capture the reflected signals generated by electromagnetic waves at different dielectric constant interfaces underground (such as geological boundaries, underground pipelines, cavities, and abandoned facilities), convert them into electrical signals, and transmit them to the receiver for subsequent processing.
3. Control detection parameters: The working frequency, size, and beam design of the antenna directly affect the detection depth, spatial resolution, and coverage range. The appropriate antenna type can be selected according to the detection requirements, such as high-frequency antenna for shallow high-precision detection and low-frequency antenna for deep large-span detection.
