A toilet paper production line has four main equipment groups: stock preparation, base paper forming, converting, and finished product packaging. Each group handles a stage in the process.
Stock preparation
High-consistency refiner: Grinds wood pulp, bamboo pulp, or recycled deinked pulp into fiber stock that meets toilet paper softness requirements.
Screening and cleaning unit: Removes sand, plastic, and other impurities to keep the sheet clean.
Stock blending system: Adjusts stock consistency and fiber ratio to meet softness and tensile strength targets.
Base paper forming
Toilet paper machine: Includes the wire section that forms a continuous wet sheet, the press section for initial dewatering, the dryer section that dries the sheet to base paper, and the calender section that improves smoothness. It is the core unit for base paper production.
Reel: Winds dried base paper into large-diameter parent rolls for converting. For paper machine builders, Hansheng Automation can machine custom forming boards, suction box components, doctor blades, and wear parts from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.
Converting
Rewinder and slitter: Cuts parent rolls into small rolls and perforates the sheet across its width for easy tearing.
Embossing unit: Presses three-dimensional patterns into the sheet to improve appearance and feel.
Sterilization unit: High-end consumer lines use UV or ozone sterilization to meet food-contact hygiene standards. Hansheng Automation can also machine custom embossing rollers, perforating blades, and packaging machine parts from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.
Finished product packaging
Roll packing machine: Counts, bags, heat-seals, and labels single or multi-roll toilet paper.
Palletizer: Automatically stacks packed products by specification for storage and automated transport.
Beyond the equipment above, our precision component customization is not limited to this topic. We machine yacht precision components, RC car precision components, tobacco packaging machinery parts, filling machinery parts, printing machinery parts, food machinery parts, and medical device components. Hansheng Automation works from customer drawings and delivers one-off or batch parts to the required material, tolerance, and surface finish. Our scope is precision components, not complete machines.
