A paper machine is a linked mechanical system. Its main sections are the headbox, forming section, press section, dryer section, calender, and reel. Auxiliary systems handle white water, drive control, quality control, and steam condensate recovery.
Headbox
Distributor: spreads stock evenly.
Rectifier roll: breaks up fiber flocs.
Slice: controls jet speed and angle.
Forming section
Fourdrinier wire: bronze or polyester mesh acts as the dewatering carrier.
Table rolls: initial dewatering elements.
Vacuum suction boxes: increase dewatering capacity.
Couch roll: completes final forming dewatering.
For paper machine builders, Hansheng Automation can machine custom headbox components, forming boards, suction box parts, and wear components from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.
Press section
Roll press combinations: usually 3 to 4 nip groups.
Felts: carry the sheet and help dewatering.
Vacuum press rolls: improve dewatering efficiency.
Dryer section
Dryer cylinders: cast iron cylinders with a diameter of 1.5 to 2 m.
Dryer fabric: supports and carries the sheet.
Steam system: working pressure of 0.3 to 1.2 MPa.
Calender
Hard and soft roll combinations: improve surface smoothness.
Online monitoring: real-time thickness measurement.
Reel
Reel drum: core of parent roll forming.
Tension control: maintains constant winding pressure.
Auxiliary systems
White water circulation system.
Drive control system (DCS).
QCS quality control system.
Steam condensate recovery unit.
Beyond paper machine parts, our precision component customization serves other industries as well. We machine filling machinery parts, tobacco packaging machinery parts, medical device components, yacht precision components, RC car precision components, printing machinery parts, and food machinery parts. Hansheng Automation works from customer drawings and delivers one-off or batch parts to the required material, tolerance, and surface finish. Our scope is precision components, not complete machines.
