A slitting machine cuts metal, paper, film, and other materials into narrow rolls or strips. It serves manufacturing, packaging, medical, and other industries.

Metals

It handles aluminum foil, copper foil, and substrates such as aluminum base boards, circuit boards, and PCB materials. These cuts support electronic component and energy equipment production.

Paper

It slits paper, paperboard, and paper tubes precisely. This supports papermaking, color printing and packaging, and printing. Common uses include book binding and gift box production.

Films

Plastic film slitting is common in food packaging and screen protection film. It handles BOPP film, PE film, and tape products. Different widths can be customized.

Fibers

In textiles, slitting machines process chemical fiber nonwovens and fabrics. They meet cutting needs for apparel and home textiles and improve material utilization.

Rubber

Rubber products such as sealing strips and vibration damping pads can be cut to size. They fit automotive parts and industrial equipment.

Other materials

Slitting machines also support precision cutting of mica tape, insulation materials, and medical dressings. They are used in leather and plastic products, synthetic materials, and food packaging film. Examples include lithium battery insulation layer slitting and food roll film portioning.

For slitter builders, Hansheng Automation can machine custom slitting blades, blade holders, tension shafts, and guide rolls from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.

Beyond the materials above, our precision component customization is not limited to slitting equipment. We machine yacht precision components, RC car precision components, tobacco packaging machinery parts, and filling machinery parts. Hansheng Automation also produces printing machinery, food machinery, and medical device components from customer drawings. We deliver one-off or batch parts to the required material, tolerance, and surface finish. Our scope is precision components, not complete machines.
