Safety operating procedures for case openers and case packers cover five areas: pre-operation checks and preparation, safety requirements during operation, shutdown and maintenance, emergency response, and personnel conduct.
Pre-operation checks and preparation
Equipment status: Check that the emergency stop switch, safety photoelectric guard, and protective mesh or guard fence are intact and working.
Power and wiring: Confirm the dedicated voltage and capacity match, the ground wire is reliably connected, and the extension cord meets the specification, 0.75 mm² and within 10 m.
Environment: Make sure the machine is stable, the floor has no water or oil, no flammable materials are nearby, and lighting meets operation requirements.
Personal protection: Wear protective gloves, goggles, cut-resistant shoes, and other PPE before operation.
Safety requirements during operation
Case opener: Adjust opening parameters according to case material. Make sure the case is fixed and aligned. Watch the contact between the blade head and the case during operation.
Case packer: Give a warning before start. Close all guard doors. Keep the body at least 50 cm from the bottle gripper frame.
Common rules: Never reach any body part into moving mechanisms. To handle fallen bottles or broken glass, stop the machine and use dedicated tools.
Shutdown and maintenance
Shutdown: Return the case packer gripper frame to the gripping position. Operate only after the main machine has fully stopped.
Cleaning: Remove broken glass with compressed air or a broom. Wipe the machine with a wet cloth. Do not use a high-pressure water gun.
Repair safety: Cut power, hang a "Do Not Switch On" warning sign, use insulated tools, and handle precision parts carefully. If opening blade holders, gripper fixtures, guard door interlock brackets, or similar parts wear out, we can machine single pieces or small batches from customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports materials such as stainless steel and aluminum alloy, with tolerances and surface treatment controlled by the drawing. We focus on precision machined parts, not complete machines.
Emergency response
For mechanical injury or glass cuts, use the first aid kit for initial treatment.
For a large wound, seek medical care immediately and report to the equipment supervisor and safety department.
If the machine behaves abnormally, press the emergency stop immediately. Do not restart before the fault is cleared.
Personnel conduct
Keep 1 m away from stacked materials when walking in the plant. Do not walk in the logistics channel.
When working at height, face the ladder and go up and down slowly. Make sure the steps are stable.
Do not wear loose clothing, jewelry, or other items that can be caught during operation.
Beyond case opener and case packer parts, our drawing-based custom machining also covers medical devices, filling machinery, tobacco packaging machinery, food processing lines, yacht hardware, and RC car structural parts. We machine single pieces and small batches to drawing for equipment builders and production lines. We focus on precision machined parts, not complete machines.
