Common faults include poor case forming, failed case pickup, inaccurate packing, mechanical jamming, and electrical faults. Stop the machine first, cut power when needed, then check the items below.
Poor case forming
Symptom: The case does not form correctly. Flaps are uneven, or dimensions are off.
Fix: Check carton quality for damage or deformation. Adjust forming component pressure and position so each flap device works accurately. If forming rails, flap plates, or case push plates wear or shift, we can machine replacements from customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports single-piece and small-batch custom work, with material and tolerances controlled by the drawing. We focus on precision machined parts, not complete machines.
Failed case pickup
Symptom: The suction cups cannot lift the carton.
Fix: Check suction cups for damage and replace damaged ones. Adjust suction force. Check the air supply and make sure pressure is stable.
Inaccurate packing
Symptom: Products do not go into the carton accurately.
Fix: Check locating sensor position and sensitivity. Recalibrate so the sensor detects product and carton position accurately. Adjust conveyor belt speed and position to keep product transfer stable.
Mechanical jamming
Symptom: The machine hesitates or jams during operation.
Fix: Remove debris and dust inside the machine. Check drive parts such as chains and gears for looseness or wear. Tighten loose parts and replace worn ones.
Electrical faults
Symptom: Some machine functions fail, or indicator lights behave abnormally.
Fix: Check electrical wiring for loose or damaged connections. Reconnect loose wires and replace damaged ones. If the fault remains, an electrical component may be damaged. Contact a professional to replace it.
Beyond case opener and case packer parts, our drawing-based custom machining also covers food packaging lines, pharmaceutical packaging equipment, daily chemical filling lines, tobacco packaging machinery, yacht hardware, and RC car structural parts. We machine single pieces and small batches to drawing for equipment builders and production lines. We focus on precision machined parts, not complete machines.
