The ZB416 cigarette pack packaging machine is a fully automatic packaging machine dedicated to 20-cigarette hard packs. Its overall structure is divided into five core functional modules based on the process logic of cigarette pack forming and sealing. Each module operates in coordination through a unified timing control system.

I. Feeding Module

(A) Packaging Material Feeding Unit

It includes multiple independent unwinding stands for inner frame paper, outer box board, and label paper. Magnetic powder tension controllers automatically adjust tension according to the running speed of the packaging material to prevent stretching or deformation of the printed film.

Photoelectric registration sensors identify printed positioning marks on the packaging material, providing positional references for subsequent cutting and folding.

Rotary cutting blade groups cut the continuous packaging material into single blanks that match the cigarette pack dimensions.

(B) Cigarette Feeding Unit

A segmented chain conveyor sorts and positions cigarette groups transferred from whole boxes according to single-pack requirements.

A cigarette separating push plate splits the full row of cigarettes and pushes them into the positioning mold at the packaging station, ensuring coaxial alignment between the cigarette group and the packaging material.

II. Forming Module

(A) Cigarette Pack Blank Forming Unit

Cam-link folding mechanisms complete side folding, bottom creasing, and top edge pre-folding in sequence.

Negative-pressure positioning molds hold the folded packaging material by suction and place it over the positioned cigarette group, forming the initial cigarette pack blank.

A transverse push cylinder transfers the initially formed blank to the sealing station.

For these folding cams, positioning molds, and related non-standard mechanical parts, Hansheng Automation provides custom machining services based on customer drawings, supporting both prototype development and small-batch production.

III. Sealing Module

(A) Heat-Sealing and Pressing Unit

Adjustable-temperature brass heating heads operate at a controlled temperature of 130–150°C, matching the heat-sealing requirements of BOPP laminated packaging material.

Floating press arms with spring cushioning ensure uniform sealing pressure and prevent damage to the packaging material or cigarettes.

The label application station fixes the top label through hot-melt pressing, meeting the appearance requirements of hard-pack cigarettes.

Safety interlock protective doors are installed around the heating head working area. When the door is opened, the machine automatically stops to prevent high-temperature burns.

IV. Output and Quality Inspection Module

(A) Finished Product Conveying Unit

A belt conveyor transfers sealed cigarette packs to the quality inspection station.

Photoelectric detection sensors identify defective products with poor sealing, missing cigarettes, or damaged packaging material, triggering a pneumatic rejection mechanism to discharge them into a waste bin.

The finished product outlet connects to the subsequent cigarette cartoning line.

V. Control and Power Module

(A) Electrical Control System

An industrial-grade PLC controller serves as the core controller, coordinating the action timing of all mechanisms to ensure equipment synchronization.

The human-machine interface is used to set operating parameters, adjust station positions, and view fault alarm information.

The servo drive system provides precise position control for high-precision stations such as cutting, folding, and positioning.

Overload and leakage protection devices are included, and maintenance must be performed by certified electricians.

(B) Power Unit

The power unit includes a main variable-frequency speed control motor and a gear reduction box, providing basic operating power for the entire machine. High-precision stations are separately equipped with servo motors for independent drive.
