Before die cutting

Machine checks
Review the shift handover record. Check machine cleanliness, power cable connections, high-pressure air hose seals, and part installation. Confirm the hydraulic system, guide rail lubrication, and electrical control panel are normal.

Die preparation
Check the die board number and fix it with clamps. Set pressure to 0.8 to 1.2 MPa. Pre-cut triple nicks at 1 to 1.5 cm spacing and apply anti-blowout rubber strips. Add cut-off knives to the gripper bars and both sides. After changing the die board, use a spirit level to check parallelism. Error must be ≤0.2 mm.

Material checks
Measure corrugated board thickness with ±0.1 mm tolerance and moisture content of 8% to 12%. Set die-cutting depth by board grammage. Use 70% to 80% of board thickness. Adjust feed table stops to ±0.5 mm precision.

Other preparation
Connect power and compressed air. Install the roll material and align it. Start a trial run.

Operation rules

Safety
Do not put hands into the clamp head when clamping material with the manual valve. Confirm the machine is safe before start. Assign a person to monitor the machine during operation. Do not leave the post.

Fault handling
If the belt jams, shut down first. Never reach into the belt or rotary cutting roller. If the scraper jams, stop the machine before clearing. Turn off the emergency switch before adjusting the die edge.

Finished product collection
Operators must wear gloves to prevent cuts from paper edges.

After operation

Fault handling
If the machine makes abnormal noise or triggers a safety alarm, stop it immediately and notify a technician. Know how to use the emergency switch and fire equipment.

Cleaning
After cleaning, make sure no rags, tools, or hazardous items remain inside the die-cutting roller.
