Unstable label feeding usually comes from sensor sensitivity, sensor failure, label paper not passing through the detection area, sensor contamination, incorrect effective signal setup, or a sensor type that does not match the label. Check these items one by one.

  • Continuous feeding and incomplete feeding are usually related to the sensor detection sensitivity. Adjust the sensitivity. For the adjustment method, refer to the sensor adjustment section.
  • Sensor failure. Place the label in the label sensor detection area. Slide the label to make and break the signal. At the same time, watch the IO monitor on the touchscreen for a flashing signal light. If the light does not flash, the sensor may have failed, or the connector may be loose. If the connector is loose, press it tight. If the problem remains, consider sensor failure and replace the label sensor promptly.
  • The label paper does not pass through the label sensor detection area. Reinstall the label paper so it passes through the detection area.
  • Dust, powder, or label scraps cover the sensor detection end. Clean the sensor promptly. Clean it under dry conditions. Do not use a wet cloth or similar cleaning tools.
  • The effective signal of the flat label applicator sensor is not set correctly. Reset the label sensor. Follow the operation procedure in the manual for the specific sensor model.
  • The label sensor type does not work with the label material and properties, so detection is ineffective. Replace it with a matching sensor type that can produce a normal effective signal.

If sensor mounts, adjustment brackets, guides, pressure rollers, or similar parts need replacement to drawing, we can handle single pieces or small batches from customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports materials such as stainless steel and aluminum alloy, with tolerances and surface treatment controlled by the drawing. We focus on precision machined parts, not complete machines.

Beyond label applicator parts, our drawing-based custom machining also covers packaging machinery, food processing equipment, pharmaceutical packaging lines, personal care filling equipment, electronics manufacturing equipment, and precision structural parts for yachts and RC cars. We machine single pieces and small batches to drawing for equipment builders and production lines. We focus on precision machined parts.
