Installation steps are as follows:

  • Preparation: Remove the hopper and feeder, turn the handwheel to clean the turret and die holes, set pressure to minimum, and detach the lower punch loading/unloading rail.
  • Install dies: Loosen the die locking screws (about 1 mm), place the die flat and gently tap it in with a drift bar, ensuring the die surface is not above the turret face, then tighten the screws.
  • Install upper punches: Remove the retaining plate, insert each upper punch rod into its hole, rotate it with your fingers to check smooth up‑and‑down movement with no sticking, then reinstall the retaining plate.
  • Install lower punches: Follow the same method as for upper punches, and after installation, reattach the lower punch loading/unloading rail.
  • Trial run: Turn the handwheel for two full turret revolutions, check that all punches run without collision or binding, and confirm that the ejection point is 0.1–0.3 mm above the turret surface. Close all doors, start the motor, run idle for 2 minutes, and the machine is ready for use.
