Adjusting the lower punch rising height is mainly done via coarse and fine adjustment of the adjusting screw, followed by locking. Before operation, turn off power, take safety precautions, clean the worktable, and prepare tools such as wrenches.
Locate the adjustment mechanism
It is usually on the side or bottom of the machine, consisting of an adjusting screw and a lock nut. Some models have a dial gauge for reference.
Coarse adjustment
Loosen the lock nut, hold the screw steady, and turn it: clockwise (or upward) increases the height, counterclockwise (or downward) decreases it. Make initial turns based on experience or the manual.
Fine adjustment
Install the tooling and run at low speed for a trial. Measure the actual height with a caliper and compare with the target. If deviation exists, turn the screw in small increments, re‑measure and readjust until the desired height is achieved.
Lock and check
Tighten the lock nut to prevent loosening, then check all connections for security. The machine is ready for normal use after confirmation.
If adjustment still fails, refer to the machine manual or contact the manufacturer's technical support for assistance.
