Laser plastic welding machines are widely used in automotive, medical device manufacturing, mold processing, sheet metal, kitchen and bath, and electronics industries. A laser plastic welding machine mainly consists of three main parts, plus auxiliary parts such as fixtures and an observation system.
Laser plastic welding main unit
The main unit generates the laser beam for welding. It consists of the power supply, laser generator, optical path, and control system. The laser needed for laser plastic welding comes from the main unit.
Cooling system
The welding process generates heat. Too much heat affects weld quality. The cooling system cools the laser generator and keeps the welding temperature suitable.
Worktable
The worktable is the automatic worktable for laser plastic welding, also called the motion system. It moves the laser beam along the required path and welding track to achieve automatic welding. The worktable controls the motion axes for welding.
Auxiliary parts:
Fixtures hold the welding workpiece.
The observation system provides real-time microscopic observation of the weld result.
We can machine custom fixtures, nozzles, protective lens holders, and other precision parts for laser plastic welding machines from customer drawings, for single-piece or low-volume production.
Our custom precision component machining capability is not limited to laser plastic welding equipment. Beyond fixtures, nozzles, and protective lens holders, we also machine yacht precision components, RC car structural parts, medical device parts, and non-standard parts for food machinery, filling machinery, and printing machinery. Hansheng Automation works from customer drawings and production quantities to deliver single-piece or low-volume precision machining.
