Optical film visual defect detection is a specialized solution that relies on machine vision and AI image algorithms to perform online, real-time inspection of surface defects on various types of film. It is suitable for continuous web production of plastic films, aluminum-plastic films, functional films, and similar materials.
The core of the equipment consists of high-speed line scan cameras, high-brightness customized light sources, high-definition image acquisition modules, intelligent algorithm processing systems, and acoustic and visual alarm, marking, and storage units. During operation, it synchronously captures full-width images of the film along the production line and compares them with the standard surface using high-precision algorithms to accurately identify fine defects.
It can stably detect common defects such as pinholes, scratches, wrinkles, contamination, gel particles, bubbles, uneven coating, and edge cracks. Detection accuracy can cover micron-level fine defects, and it adapts to medium and high-speed production lines without affecting the production pace.
The system provides real-time image display, defect location, defect classification and statistics, automatic data archiving, and abnormal acoustic and visual alarms. It can also be connected to the production line control system to achieve automatic defect marking and sectional rejection. This effectively replaces manual visual inspection, solves the problems of human eye fatigue and missed detection, improves quality control stability, and meets the needs of wide-width, high-speed, and continuous film production.
For integration into such equipment, Hansheng Automation provides custom-machined components including camera mounting brackets, light source housings, and precision guide rails according to customer drawings.
