Gold-plated and zinc-plated coatings are generally not affected. Tin-plated and silver-plated coatings may be affected, depending on factors such as light intensity, heat exposure, and inspection time. Tin and silver are more chemically active and can oxidize or discolor under certain lighting or temperature conditions, while gold and zinc have better chemical stability and are less likely to react.

For optical sorting machine components such as light source brackets and camera mounting plates, Hansheng Automation provides custom machining according to customer drawings.
