Maintenance for cabling and stranding equipment combines daily cleaning, lubrication, and inspection with scheduled systematic service. The focus is transmission accuracy, electrical stability, and hydraulic system reliability. At Hansheng Automation, we provide build-to-print custom machining for this equipment. We make precision parts such as guide wheels, capstan wheels, transmission gears, and bearing housings from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.

1. Daily maintenance (per shift or daily)

Cleaning: After shutdown each day, clean dust and debris from the equipment surface and key areas such as guide wheels and capstan wheels. This prevents contamination from affecting cable quality.

Lubrication: Check oil levels at lubrication points such as gear reducers and bearings. Add lubricating oil that meets the standard in time to keep operation smooth.

Inspection: Check electrical wiring for damage or looseness. Test control button sensitivity. Tighten mechanical connecting bolts and adjust belt or chain tension to the proper state.

2. Scheduled maintenance

Monthly: Fully inspect wear on transmission parts such as gears. Replace them immediately if wear is severe. Clean dust from the electrical control cabinet and check the working state of contactors, relays, and other components.

Semi-annual: Calibrate precision parameters such as stranding lay length. Adjust if there is deviation. Check hydraulic oil quality and quantity. Replace or top up hydraulic oil when necessary.

Annual: Disassemble and clean the whole machine. Replace all severely worn parts. Upgrade control system software and optimize parameters to improve overall equipment performance.

3. Key precautions

Select lubricating oil and hydraulic oil according to the grade required in the equipment manual. Do not mix oils of different brands or models.
De-energize the electrical cabinet before dust removal to prevent short circuits.
Use professional measuring tools such as a lay length gauge for precision calibration. Record and file the data for traceability.
If abnormal vibration or noise is found, stop the machine immediately and troubleshoot to prevent the fault from expanding.

Beyond cabling and stranding equipment, our precision custom machining capability is not limited to one industry. Hansheng Automation can machine non-standard metal parts for medical devices, food machinery, and printing machinery from customer drawings. We also machine yacht components, RC car components, and specialized parts for tobacco packaging and filling machinery. We focus on build-to-print custom machining and produce single pieces or small batches according to customer drawings. We do not sell complete machines.
