A twist-wrap candy packaging machine wraps candy in a continuous automated cycle. Four stations work together: feeding, paper supply, forming, and twisting. Each station has to hold timing and position, because the paper must land in the same place on every piece.

1. Feeding system

Candy enters through a vibrating bowl or a conveyor. The vibrating bowl lines up randomly piled candy and moves it in a set direction. A conveyor moves the candy steadily to the wrapping station. The feed rate has to match the wrapping cycle so pieces do not crowd or leave gaps.

2. Wrapping paper supply

A roll of wrapping paper mounts on the machine. A feed mechanism pulls the paper, controls the length and speed, and sends it to the wrapping position. Each candy receives a piece of paper sized to the right length. If the paper length drifts, the twist ends will be uneven.

3. Forming

When the candy reaches the wrapping position, the paper wraps around it and forms a basic package. A forming wheel or forming block helps the paper sit tight against the candy surface. The paper must stay centered so both ends have enough material for the twist.

4. Twist sealing

The twist unit clamps the paper at both ends of the candy. It then rotates quickly and tightens the paper into a sealed twist knot. This completes one wrapping cycle. The twist must be tight enough to hold the candy but not so tight that it tears the paper.

When a feed roller, forming wheel, or twist jaw reaches its wear limit, Hansheng Automation can machine a replacement from customer drawings. We match material, tolerance, and surface treatment to the machine and working conditions.

Hansheng Automation also machines custom precision parts beyond candy wrapping equipment. Our drawing-based service covers filling machinery, tobacco packaging machinery, yacht components, and RC car components, plus non-standard parts for food, printing, and medical equipment. We handle single pieces and small batches.
