Misalignment on a coating machine usually comes from loose or worn parts. Work through the machine in a set order: fasteners, web and rollers, drive system, coating head, sensors and controller, coating thickness, and line speed.

Check fasteners

Inspect for loose screws and bolts. Tighten any that have worked loose.

Check the web and rollers

Look at the conveyor belt or rollers for looseness or damage. Repair or replace damaged parts. Worn rollers are a common replacement point. We machine custom rollers and other precision parts from customer drawings in single pieces or small batches.

Check the drive system

Check whether the motor and drive belt run normally. If you find a fault, repair or replace the part.

Check the coating head

Make sure the coating head runs normally. If it does not, repair or replace it.

Check sensors and the controller

Check whether sensors and the controller work normally. If they do not, repair or replace them.

Check coating thickness

Uniform coating thickness matters. If thickness is uneven, adjust the coating head position or replace the head.

Check line speed

Check whether the conveying speed is correct. If it is too fast or too slow, adjust it.

If you are not familiar with coating machine maintenance and adjustment, contact a professional or the manufacturer's technical support. Follow safety rules during maintenance. Regular inspection and maintenance extend service life and improve production efficiency.

Our precision custom machining is not limited to coating equipment. Hansheng Automation also produces non-standard components for printing machinery, medical devices, food machinery, yacht hardware, RC car parts, tobacco packaging equipment, and filling lines. We work from customer drawings for single pieces or small batches, with a focus on precision parts machining and delivery. This keeps maintenance and replacement flexible across different industries.
