Yarn breakage on plastic circular looms is usually related to the following factors:
- Low warp yarn strength.
- Low ambient temperature or humidity.
- Incorrect advancing wheel position, or inflexible operation.
- Inflexible rotation of the shuttle tail wheel.
- Dirty small shuttle wheels.
- Burrs or defects where the shuttle passes the yarn.
- Damage to the shuttle pusher box.
- Severe wear on the shuttle arm.
- Collapsed or snagged yarn on the bobbin.
Check and correct these issues in the following order:
- Improve yarn strength.
- Raise ambient temperature or humidity.
- Adjust the advancing wheel position, or check the cause of inflexible operation.
- Clean or replace bearings.
- Clean the small shuttle wheels.
- Check and smooth burrs or defects where the shuttle passes the yarn.
- Repair or replace the worn shuttle pusher box.
- Repair or replace the shuttle arm.
- Replace the bobbin.
If parts such as advancing wheels, shuttle wheels, or shuttle arms are worn and need replacement to match the site, we can custom machine them according to customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports single-piece and small-batch delivery.
Beyond parts for plastic circular looms and FIBC equipment, our custom precision parts machining capability also covers filling machinery parts, tobacco packaging machinery parts, yacht precision parts, and RC car precision parts. Hansheng Automation can also machine non-standard parts for food machinery, printing machinery, and medical devices according to drawings, supporting drawing-based customization and small-batch delivery.
