In July this year, Ecovacs and China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute were approved to jointly lead the formulation of China's first national standard for commercial cleaning robots.
On September 12, the kick-off meeting and the first working group meeting of the national standard formulation of "Commercial Cleaning Robots" were successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
This standard is China's first commercial cleaning robot product evaluation specification, including safety, performance, etc. The evaluation methods and limit requirements of the entire product evaluation system including safety and performance are aimed at establishing a threshold for commercial cleaning robot products, standardizing competition within the industry, and providing a favorable basis for spot checks by relevant national departments.
More than 20 representatives and experts from China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute, China Quality Certification Center Co., Ltd., Zhongjiayuan (Beijing) Testing and Certification Co., Ltd., Ecovacs Robotics Co., Ltd. and other representatives and experts attended the meeting.
The draft standard was drafted by Ecovacs, and all members of the working group discussed the main content of the draft standard and reached an agreement on the standard framework and main technical directions. In the next step, the relevant units of the working group will conduct research on the main test methods involved in the standard.
