IT Home reported on September 19 that the first type qualification committee (TCB) meeting of Xpeng Huitian's "land aircraft carrier" flying body X3-F aircraft (X3-F is the internal code) was held in Guangzhou, marking that X3-F has fully entered the airworthiness review stage.
The meeting announced the formal establishment of the X3-F Project Type Qualification Certification Committee (TCB) and determined the members of the review team (TCT), which was undertaken by the Guangzhou Aircraft Certification Sub-center of Civil Aviation of China.

At the meeting, Xpeng Huitian and Guangzhou Aircraft Validation Sub-center respectively reported on the design of the X3-F model, the review work and the suggestions for the establishment of the review team. The TCB deliberated on the membership and establishment of the review team, and discussed matters such as the establishment of special conditions.
Zhao Deli, founder of Xpeng Huitian, revealed that the formulation of the draft X3-F special conditions has been basically completed, and the compliance verification of some airworthiness requirements has been determined. With the convening of the TCB meeting, the airworthiness certification of the "Land Aircraft Carrier" aircraft body will enter the stage of determining requirements and formulating the compliance plan according to the project plan as scheduled, and gradually carry out the compliance verification work.
According to a previous report by IT House, the "land aircraft carrier" is divided into two parts: the land body and the flight body, the flight body is an electric six-rotter six-propeller configuration aircraft, the main structure of the fuselage and the blades are made of carbon fiber materials, and it is equipped with a 270° panoramic cockpit.
The flying body of the "Land Carrier" supports both manual and automatic piloting modes. Xpeng Huitian uses a single-stick control system, claiming that "even zero-based users can easily master flight skills". In the automatic driving mode, it can realize one-key take-off and landing, automatic route planning and automatic flight, and has multi-dimensional intelligent air perception and obstacle avoidance assistance, landing vision assistance and other functions.
Xpeng Huitian is about to build the world's first flying car factory in the Guangzhou Development Zone for mass production using modern assembly lines, which will first be used to produce the flying body part of the split flying car "Land Aircraft Carrier", which is scheduled to start pre-sale at the end of this year.
