IT Home reported on December 8 that Clone Robotics, a Polish robotics company, recently announced that the limited edition humanoid robot "Clone Alpha" (Clone Alpha) developed by it will be available for pre-order next year.

According to IT House, the robot is described as a "musculoskeletal android", which mimics human anatomy and has more than 200 "bones" and a bionic respiratory system. Synthetic organs, artificial muscles, and ligaments are used instead of traditional robotic components.

Clone Robotics plans to produce only 279 "Clone Alpha" robots. The company says the "Clone Alpha" muscle system drives bones through a revolutionary artificial muscle technology called Myofiber. Its locomotion system is achieved through a battery-powered pump and valve system that drives the movement of joints and muscles by circulating water through the body. Water is stored in containers inside the torso, which has human-like ribs and a spine. This water-filled design makes the robot softer and closer to a human.

While Clone Robotics claims that Clone Alpha has 16 preset skills, including memorizing home layouts, kitchen inventory, and even providing "witty conversations" to act as a personal butler and babysitter, many are skeptical about the robot's actual capabilities. The company has yet to show Clone Alpha in action, and it remains to be seen how all of its components will work together.

Despite the skepticism, the founders of Clone Robotics, Dhanush Radhakrishnan and Lucas Kozlik, believe that Clone Alpha can work not only in the home, but also in the workplace. This robot, capable of moving like a human, can more easily adapt to a variety of roles without the need for major modifications to the production line.
