On October 19, the final of the 2024 Pudong New Area Robot Innovation Application and Skills Competition-Robot Application Skills Competition was successfully concluded in the first phase of Shanghai Zhangjiang Jichuang Park High-end Equipment and Precision Instrument Industrial Park. The robot competition attracted 613 contestants to participate, with more than 100 participating units and covering 410,000 people.
The competition was guided by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, co-sponsored by the Shanghai Pudong New Area Federation of Trade Unions, the District Development and Reform Commission, the District Science and Economic Commission, the District Education Bureau, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the Robotics Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It aims to build a high-level competition platform based in Pudong, serving Shanghai and facing the whole country, aggregating educational and scientific and technological resources, promoting the in-depth practice of the competition model of "training-competition-certification-application", promoting the effective implementation of the mechanism of "integration of training and competition, integration of competition and certification", as well as the effective transformation of competition results, and promoting the common development of employees, enterprises and industries.
