Invisible material differences: performance-driven scientific selection
The tooth knife delivered this time adopts a ring with teeth design, although the two materials are highly similar in appearance, but the performance does exist complementary, for example:
1. Manganese steel toothed knives: with ultra-high hardness and impact toughness, designed for high-intensity, high-frequency mechanical work scenarios.


2. Stainless steel SUS416 tooth knife: excellent performance in terms of corrosion and oxidation resistance, suitable for working conditions that require high environmental resistance.


Cooperation history: from technical consultation to value co-creation
The Indian customer initially asked for a customised toothed knife made of manganese steel and provided us with their existing products.Our technical team analysed the customer's requirements and found that the humidity factor in the working environment could cause the manganese steel tools to lose their life span.For this reason, our engineers innovatively proposed the "Stainless Steel SUS416 Alternative", and clarified the advantages through the material performance comparison report:
Stainless steel SUS416 has a hardness of HRC50 or above, which is close to the standard of manganese steel (HRC52-55).
Salt spray test shows that the corrosion resistance of stainless steel tooth knife is increased by 300%.
The customer tested the samples of both materials and confirmed that the stainless steel solution proposed by our engineers as well as the manganese steel toothed knives were able to meet their expectations, and finally finalised an order for 50 sets of Precision Gear Tools, 25 sets of each material.
