Filament breakage during fan startup usually comes from a mismatch between fan airflow and the spinning process. The fix needs to cover equipment, process parameters, raw material, and operator practice.
Equipment checks and maintenance
Unstable fan speed and air volume are direct causes. Check blades for dust buildup or damage. Keep airflow steady. Check the spinneret for blockage or wear. Check the spinning duct for foreign matter or carbonized buildup. Keep the filament path clear.
Hansheng Automation can machine custom fan components, spinneret parts, and guide components from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.
Process parameter optimization
Uneven melt temperature or unsuitable cooling air temperature affects filament strength and formation. Control temperature precisely. An excessive draw ratio puts filament stress beyond its limit. Adjust it properly while keeping product quality. Avoid over-stretching.
Raw material quality control
Impurities or high moisture content in the raw material can interrupt spinning. Screen material strictly and dry it fully. Make sure purity and dryness meet process requirements.
Standard operation and training
Start the fan slowly. Avoid a sudden air speed change that shocks the filament bundle. Operators should know equipment performance and process requirements. They need to observe and handle abnormal conditions in time.
Beyond the parts above, our precision component customization is not limited to chemical fiber spinning. We machine yacht precision components, RC car precision components, tobacco packaging machinery parts, filling machinery parts, printing machinery parts, medical device components, and food machinery parts. Hansheng Automation works from customer drawings and delivers one-off or batch parts to the required material, tolerance, and surface finish. Our scope is precision components, not complete machines.
