The precision of laser marking machines is affected by equipment type, parameter settings, workpiece material, and other factors. Different types and applications offer different levels of accuracy.

1. General-purpose Laser Marking Machines

In high-precision fields such as electronics manufacturing and precision machining, marking precision can reach 0.001 mm.

2. 3D Laser Texture Marking Machines

These machines can produce micron-level three-dimensional engraving on various material surfaces. On stainless steel, depth control accuracy can reach ±5 μm. On anodized aluminum, fine patterns with a line width of 0.02 mm can be achieved. On mold steel, surface textures finer than Ra0.2 μm can be produced. In the electronics field, QR codes with a line width of 0.05 mm can be engraved.

3. Automated Laser Marking Equipment for IC Chips

Using a UV laser source with a spot diameter of only 10–20 μm, these systems can engrave characters or QR codes of 0.05 mm on chip surfaces, with marking depth uniformity error ≤0.005 mm. The CCD vision positioning system provides positioning accuracy of ±0.01 mm.

4. Semiconductor Laser Marking Machines

Repeat positioning accuracy is generally within 0.01 mm, and can reach 0.005 mm or better in high-precision configurations.

For the non-standard mechanical components that help maintain such precision-such as optical mounting brackets, galvanometer seats, and workholding fixtures-Hansheng Automation provides custom machining based on customer drawings or samples, including single-piece and small-batch orders.
