Vision sorting machines and color sorters are both used for item inspection and classification, but they differ in working principle, function, and application scope.

A vision sorting machine uses high-speed cameras and image processing software to recognize and analyze items, enabling classification, judgment, and rejection. Through software adjustment, it can adapt to items of different shapes, sizes, colors, and textures, offering high flexibility and precision. It is widely used in food processing, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and manufacturing.

A color sorter uses cameras and optical sensors to detect item color and quality, and classifies items according to preset rules. It is mainly used for agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds to remove low-quality or defective products and improve overall quality.

For integration into such equipment, Hansheng Automation provides custom-machined components such as camera mounting brackets, light source holders, and precision ejection nozzles according to customer drawings.

Therefore, although both machines are used for item classification, they differ in principle, function, and application range.
