A weight sorting machine sends products to different areas or conveyor lines by weight range. Function
Checkweigher: checks item weight and judges whether it meets the preset weight standard. It is often used for quality control on production lines to ensure each product's weight stays within the allowed tolerance.
Weight sorting machine: besides checking weight, it classifies or sorts items by weight. Based on preset weight ranges, it automatically assigns items to different collection areas or conveyor lines.
Working principle
Checkweigher: a load cell measures item weight and compares it with the preset standard weight. If the weight is above or below the set tolerance range, it triggers an alarm or marks the item.
Weight sorting machine: it also uses load cells to measure weight, but the subsequent processing is more complex. Based on preset weight ranges, the control system automatically adjusts the conveying path or sorting mechanism to send items to the correct position.

Checkweigher: widely used in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and other industries to check whether individual product weight meets the standard.
