A packaging back-end rewinder is key equipment on a packaging line. It rewinds large rolls into small rolls sized for retail sale.
Working principle
It unwinds long materials such as paper, film, and aluminum foil from the original shaft. A control system then rewinds them onto a new shaft at a set tension, speed, and winding pattern.
Structure
Main parts include an unwind unit, a pulling or haul-off unit, a rewind unit, a tension control system, and a web guide system.
The unwind unit releases material. The pulling unit controls line speed. The rewind unit forms the finished roll. The tension system keeps winding tightness consistent. The web guide keeps roll edges straight.
Applications
It is widely used in back-end packaging for toilet paper, facial tissue, cling film, aluminum foil, and similar products. It is the core equipment that turns large semi-finished rolls into retail specifications.
For rewinder builders, Hansheng Automation can machine custom unwind shafts, rewind shafts, guide rollers, tension rollers, and wear parts from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.
Beyond packaging back-end rewinders, our precision component customization serves more than one industry. We machine filling machinery parts, tobacco packaging machinery parts, medical device components, yacht precision components, RC car precision components, printing machinery parts, and food machinery parts. Hansheng Automation works from customer drawings and delivers one-off or batch parts to the required material, tolerance, and surface finish. Our scope is precision components, not complete machines.
