A pressure steam sterilizer uses pressurized saturated steam to disinfect and sterilize quickly and reliably.

Working principle

In a sealed pressure steam sterilizer, heating produces steam. As the amount of steam increases, internal pressure rises, and the boiling point of water rises with it. This gives temperatures above 100°C. The high-temperature, high-pressure environment kills bacteria, spores, viruses, and other microorganisms.

Classification

Gravity displacement pressure steam sterilizer: it uses gravity displacement. Hot steam moves from top to bottom and pushes cold air out through the lower exhaust port.

Pre-vacuum pressure steam sterilizer: a mechanical vacuum pump first removes air from the chamber, then steam is admitted. Sterilization is more effective and takes less time.

Applications

Medical industry: sterilizes surgical instruments, dressings, syringes, and other medical supplies to prevent cross infection.

Research: sterilizes experimental equipment and culture media to support accurate results.

Pharmaceutical companies: sterilizes containers and equipment used in drug production.

Hansheng Automation also machines non-standard components for sterilizer builders, including valve bodies, seal seats, and door lock parts, from customer drawings. Single-piece and small-batch work is supported.
