Paper-plastic packaging machines fall into two main categories: rotary and linear. The equipment layout differs between the two types, but the fundamental working process is the same.

 

2. Technical Features

  • Bag Orientation: Packaging bags are placed horizontally to streamline downstream operations.
  • Paper Feeding: The first stage of the cycle uses an eccentric wheel linkage to position the paper.
  • Heat Sealing: A thermostatic cam guide rod mechanism seals the paper and plastic film together.
  • Belt Transport: An electromechanical system moves the bag through the machine.
  • Shearing: A cam-guide rod mechanism cuts the sealed bag from the web.
  • Boxing: An electromechanical system places finished bags into designated boxes.
  • Control System: The electrical control box manages the conveyor, boxing, and heat sealing mechanisms.

 

Common Components and Operation Cycle

Shaft 3 is a shared mechanical component. One rotation of Shaft 3 drives the conveyor to advance the packaging bag by one pitch. The conveyor then stops, and the paper feeding, heat sealing, and shearing mechanisms cycle in sequence to complete one packaging operation. The boxing mechanism operates according to the preset count programmed in the electrical control box.

 

3. Operating Precautions

Observe the following precautions to ensure safe, normal operation and to extend the machine's service life:

  • Handling: Always lift the machine using only the base as the lifting point. Lifting from other points may damage the equipment.
  • Machine Condition: Do not place objects on the machine body, as this can interfere with operation. Keep the machine clean to prevent contamination of the product and corrosion of the equipment.
  • Electrical Safety: Avoid touching exposed wire joints or loose connections to prevent electric shock or machine damage.
  • Component Replacement: Disconnect power before replacing any components.
  • Pre-Operation Check: Before starting, check for any mechanical abnormalities in rotation to confirm the machine is in proper working order.
