In food processing, multi-station high-speed automatic palletizers suit high-capacity, standardized packaging and batch production. Single-axis palletizing suits low-capacity, multi-spec packaging and flexible production.
Capacity fit
Multi-station high-speed palletizer
Single-cycle palletizing volume is at least 10 items. It suits high-capacity lines of 2,000 items per hour or more, matching batch processing needs in food plants.
Multiple stations work in sync, so the cycle is stable. It suits continuous palletizing of standardized products such as boxed pastries and canned drinks.
The motion area needs safety fences and sound-light alarms, in line with GB 2894-2008 safety sign and signal standard.
Single-axis palletizing
Single-cycle palletizing volume is no more than 6 items. Capacity is usually no more than 1,000 items per hour, suiting small food workshops.
It relies on single-axis motion path adjustment, so capacity fluctuates with packaging specs. It suits small-batch, multi-category production such as custom gift boxes and small snack bags.
The motion range is small and protection requirements are lower. Basic warning signs to GB 2894-2008 are enough.
Packaging spec fit
Multi-station high-speed palletizer
It handles a narrow range of packaging specs and suits a single package style.
Changing package specs requires adjusting station positioning and takes at least 15 minutes. It does not suit food lines that switch specs often.
Single-axis palletizing
It handles a wider range of packaging specs. Changing grippers covers 3 to 5 sizes.
Changing specs only requires editing program parameters and takes no more than 5 minutes. It suits food workshops with mixed-line production.
If palletizer grippers, timing belt pulleys, safety fence connectors, or flexible support pads need machining to drawing, we can handle single pieces or small batches from customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports materials such as 304/316 stainless steel and aluminum alloy, with tolerances and surface treatment controlled by the drawing. We focus on precision machined parts, not complete machines.
Maintenance and cost
Multi-station high-speed palletizer
The regular model costs at least 200,000 RMB, so investment is high.
Wear parts such as timing belts and grippers wear quickly. Annual maintenance cost is about 8% to 10% of the machine price.
The housing is often food-grade stainless steel, which takes a large share of manufacturing cost.
Dedicated staff are needed to calibrate stations regularly to match continuous food production.
Single-axis palletizing
The regular model costs no more than 100,000 RMB, so investment is low.
The structure is simple with few fault points. Annual maintenance cost is about 3% to 5% of the machine price.
Its compact design takes a smaller share of workshop space, suiting small food plants with limited floor area.
Frequent calibration is not needed, and the operation threshold is low. Ordinary operators can make adjustments.
Food industry compliance
Multi-station high-speed palletizer
Multi-station sealed structures can trap dirt. Deep cleaning is needed regularly under GB 4806.1-2016 food contact material safety requirements.
The machine runs with low vibration, so packaging is less likely to be damaged and secondary food contamination risk is reduced.
Single-axis palletizing
The open structure is easy to clean and meets GB 4806.1-2016.
Single-axis motion accuracy is slightly lower, and package corners are easy to hit. Flexible support pads are needed to prevent food packaging damage.
Beyond palletizer parts, our drawing-based custom machining also covers yacht precision parts, RC car precision parts, tobacco packaging machinery parts, and filling machinery parts. We can also machine non-standard parts to drawing for printing equipment, food machinery, and medical devices. We machine single pieces and small batches to drawing for equipment builders and production lines. We focus on precision machined parts.
