The common steel ball feeding mechanisms are mainly divided into four categories: vibrating disc type, rotary disc type, linear feeding type, and pneumatic pushing type, each adapted to different production scenarios and steel ball specifications.
1, Vibration disc feeding mechanism
1. It is currently the most widely used steel ball feeding equipment, which drives the hopper to vibrate through electromagnetic or piezoelectric means, allowing the steel balls to be transported upwards along the built-in spiral track, while completing directional sorting through the track guide groove to eliminate steel balls with incorrect posture.
2. Suitable for small and medium-sized steel balls with a diameter of 2-50mm, commonly used in automated production lines for bearings, fasteners, and hardware tools. The feeding efficiency can reach 200-800 times per minute.
3. The vibration amplitude and frequency should be adjusted according to the weight of the steel ball to avoid problems such as jamming and overturning. The electrical drive part needs to be regularly maintained by professional electricians.
2, Rotary feeding mechanism
1. The core structure is a rotating turntable with a circular indexing groove. The steel balls in the silo naturally fall into the indexing groove by gravity and rotate with the turntable to the designated station to complete the unloading process.
2. Suitable for large-sized steel balls with a diameter of 30-100mm, with a positioning accuracy of up to ± 0.1mm. It is commonly used in assembly lines for large wind turbine bearings and engineering machinery shaft sleeves, with a fixed single feeding quantity of one or more balls.
3. It is necessary to regularly clean the steel ball debris in the indexing groove to avoid affecting the positioning accuracy.
3, Linear feeding mechanism
1. It is divided into two types: linear electromagnetic vibration type and mechanical push rod type. The electromagnetic vibration type transports steel balls through a linear vibration track, while the mechanical push rod type pushes steel balls sequentially through a cylinder or motor driven push rod.
2. Suitable for short distance (0.5-3m), high cycle feeding scenarios, with a feeding speed of 300-1200 times per minute, mostly used for assembly stations of small electronic components and micro bearings.
3. The mechanical push rod type requires regular lubrication of the push rod guide rail to avoid jamming.
4, Pneumatic push feeding mechanism
1. By relying on compressed air flow or cylinder push rod to complete feeding, there is no mechanical contact wear and no metal debris will be generated.
2. Suitable for precision steel balls with a diameter of 1-20mm, mostly used in medical devices, semiconductor packaging and other scenarios that require extremely high cleanliness. It can accurately control the single feeding amount to 1-5 pieces.
3. It is necessary to regularly check the sealing of the air pressure pipeline to avoid feeding failure due to insufficient air pressure. The air pressure parameters must strictly follow the rated values of the equipment.
