Common causes: Misalignment between cylinder axis and pad‑printing head guide rail, or uneven tightening torque of mounting bolts, which introduces additional radial loads during operation and gradually damages the cylinder structure.
Mounting precautions: Use a dial gauge to check coaxiality during installation, tighten bolts in diagonal sequence in multiple steps, and manually rotate the cylinder after mounting to confirm smooth motion.
4. Accessory failures
Typical symptoms: Faulty position signals from magnetic sensors, causing system shutdown or color‑registration errors; wear or peeling of the piston rod chrome plating, accelerating seal deterioration.
Common causes: Shifted magnetic switch position, interference from metal debris, or loose wiring; long‑term friction wears off the plating layer.
Preventive measures: Regularly inspect the switch position and wiring connections, check rod plating integrity once a month, polish or replace the rod if scratches are found, and clean metal chips and ink dust around the sensing area.
