A case erector uses several mechanisms to open, form, fold the bottom, and seal cartons. The parts work together as follows.
The upper case feeding mechanism is at the top of the machine. It receives and prepares cartons for processing. The main frame is the machine skeleton and gives the other components a stable base.
Vacuum case suction holds the carton with vacuum force and keeps it stable during processing. The main drive transmits power and keeps the components running smoothly. The blank lifting mechanism raises and moves cartons for the next operation.
The rocker arm case transfer mechanism uses arm movement to send the carton to the opening position. The case opening mechanism opens and folds the carton edges into the required shape. The height adjustment mechanism sets the height for different carton sizes.
The short-side flap folding mechanism folds the short sides. The long-side closing and shaping mechanism closes and shapes the long sides to keep the carton structure complete. The case push fork pushes the formed carton out of the work area. Carton guide rails guide the carton inside the machine. The compression ram keeps the carton flat during compression.
The hot melt adhesive system provides accurate, consistent bonding. The pneumatic control system handles automated operation. The electrical control system controls and coordinates all mechanical components.
These components work together so the case erector can complete carton forming. If guide rails, case push forks, flap folding plates, compression rams, or similar parts need replacement, we can machine single pieces or small batches from customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports materials such as stainless steel and aluminum alloy, with tolerances and surface treatment controlled by the drawing. We focus on precision machined parts.
Extended Information
A case erector automatically completes case opening, forming, bottom flap folding, and bottom tape sealing in real time. It opens flattened carton blanks, folds the bottom in a set sequence, seals it with tape, and feeds it to the case packer. An automatic case erector is line equipment for high-volume automatic case opening, bottom flap folding, and bottom tape sealing. It uses PLC and display control, which makes operation and management easier and reduces production staff and labor intensity. It is common in automated large-scale production, simple to operate, and lowers packaging cost.
Beyond case erector parts, our drawing-based custom machining also covers automated assembly lines, inspection equipment, textile machinery, woodworking machinery, environmental equipment, and food processing equipment. We machine single pieces and small batches to drawing for equipment builders and production lines. We focus on precision machined parts.
