The small granulating machine is mainly composed of three parts: an independent rectangular machine body, a granulating device, and a reduction gearbox with machine base. The overall structure is designed for stable indoor placement without special installation requirements.
Machine body and frame
The machine body includes the bearing housing, reduction gearbox, and base. The bearing housing is connected to the feeding hopper and can extend outside the machine body. The front end of the base is designed for firm placement and is suitable for indoor use.
Granulating device
The core of the granulating device is a rotating drum positioned horizontally below the hopper. It is supported by front and rear bearings and driven through a rack transmission to rotate in both forward and reverse directions. The front bearing seat is removable and can be installed or removed by loosening three screws. Both ends of the drum use symmetrical convex couplings, which are not restricted by the direction of rotation and are easy to assemble and disassemble.
Screen clamping tube
Screen clamping tubes are located on both sides of the rotating drum. They are made of steel pipe with a central slot into which the screen is inserted. By turning the handwheel, the screen can be adjusted to fit tightly against the outer surface of the drum. A ratchet mechanism inside the handwheel allows the screen tension to be adjusted as needed.
Reduction gearbox
The reduction gearbox uses worm gear transmission with a ratio of 1:30. It contains oil for lubricating the gears, worm wheel, and rack, which also helps reduce noise. An eccentric rod is mounted at the outer end of the worm wheel to drive the rack in reciprocating motion. The gear shaft meshing with the rack then rotates alternately in forward and reverse directions.
Motor and drive adjustment
The motor mounted on the base is connected to the mounting plate through a hinge, and the other end is hinged to a nut. By turning the handwheel on the base, the lead screw is adjusted, which moves the nut and changes the tension of the V-belt to ensure stable motor operation.
Application
The small granulating machine can convert mixed powder into granules and can also crush dry lump material into granules of the required size. It is suitable for small-batch production in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, scientific research, laboratory, hospital, and small health product manufacturing settings.
