Maintenance Instructions

Inspect machine components regularly, at least once a month. Check whether the worm gear, worm shaft, bolts on the lubrication block, bearings, and other moving parts rotate freely and whether there is any wear. If defects are found, repair them promptly. Do not continue using the machine in a compromised condition.

The machine should be used indoors in a dry and clean environment. Do not operate it in areas where the atmosphere contains acids or other corrosive gases that may damage the machine body.

After use or when the machine is stopped, remove the rotating drum for cleaning, brush out any remaining powder from the hopper, and then reinstall it properly to prepare for the next use.

If the drum moves forward or backward during operation, adjust the M10 screw on the front bearing seat to the appropriate position. If the gear shaft moves axially, adjust the M10 screw behind the bearing housing to the proper position. The clearance should be set so that the bearing makes no abnormal noise and the pulley can be turned by hand with appropriate tightness. Excessive tightness or looseness may cause damage to the machine.

If the machine will be out of use for an extended period, wipe the entire machine clean, apply anti-rust oil to the polished surfaces of machine parts, and cover it with a cloth cover.

Precautions

During operation, pay attention to whether the sound of the machine is normal, and learn to identify unusual operating sounds that may indicate a developing fault.

After the film is loaded, if the machine is not started for a long time, heat from the longitudinal sealing rollers will continue to transfer to the film and may burn it. In this case, rotate the three back nuts clockwise to separate the two rollers from each other.

Clean the surfaces of the longitudinal sealing rollers and transverse sealing rollers frequently with a copper brush. If material sticks to the surface of the heated rollers, poor heat sealing may result, and the pulling force of the longitudinal sealing rollers may be weakened.

Always disconnect the power supply before inspection, cleaning, or repair.

During operation, keep hands and other objects away from the area between the transverse sealing rollers and the cutting blade.

Regularly check all fastening parts of the machine for looseness or disconnection. Lubricate all fastening parts once a month. The reducer oil should be replaced after about 10 days of initial operation, and thereafter every 2000 hours. Add oil to the center of the oil level indicator.

For wearing parts such as worm gears, worm shafts, bearings, and sealing rollers, Hansheng Automation can provide custom precision machining according to equipment specifications to support stable operation and reduce maintenance frequency.
