In the engineering design and maintenance of automated liquid packaging machinery, the piping responsible for fluid discharge is classified into three distinct technical categories based on installation location, structural design, and process function:

1. Filling Nozzle Tube

The filling nozzle tube refers to the terminal conduit directly mounted to the discharge end of a filling valve or nozzle assembly. Its internal bore geometry and orifice profile directly determine liquid cut-off performance, anti-stringing characteristics, and overall volumetric dispensing accuracy. Operating under high-frequency actuation and in close proximity to container openings, this component requires tight geometric tolerances and an exceptionally smooth internal surface finish.

To eliminate material residue and fluid dripping in sanitary applications, Hansheng Automation precision-machines custom filling nozzle tubes from SUS316L and titanium alloys based on customer engineering drawings, consistently achieving internal surface finishes down to Ra ≤ 0.4 μm through micro-honing and electropolishing.

2. Material Feed Pipe

The material feed pipe serves as the intermediate transfer conduit routed between product holding tanks, metering units (such as piston pumps or peristaltic heads), and distribution assemblies. Its primary function is to maintain steady flow rates and uninterrupted product delivery under line pressure. This conduit must reliably withstand hydraulic pulsation, mechanical vibration, and repeated high-temperature Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) cycles without dimensional distortion or joint fatigue.

3. Filling Discharge Piping Assembly

This is a broader systems-level engineering designation that encompasses the complete fluid manifold circuit-including diverter blocks, valve inter-connect spools, and individual distribution branch lines. In multi-head, high-speed linear or rotary filling equipment, matching the internal volume and hydraulic resistance across each branch channel is critical to guaranteeing equal fluid distribution across every filling station.

We provide multi-axis CNC machining services for these complex packaging components, manufacturing custom flow manifolds, splitters, and sanitary pipe spools in single-piece or low-volume production runs strictly according to customer CAD models and technical specifications.
