Level adjustment for SMT pick-and-place machines involves four core aspects: measurement, adjustment, verification, and environmental adaptation. These steps help maintain placement accuracy and long-term equipment stability.

Precisely measure the machine levelness
Use an electronic level with an accuracy of 0.02 mm/m and place it on critical areas such as the X/Y axis motion guides. Observe the bubble position to determine whether the machine is tilted. If the bubble deviates from the center, a leveling error exists.

Adjust the machine feet to correct tilt
Based on the level measurement results, rotate the corresponding anchor bolts to raise or lower the equipment until the bubble returns to the center. The final parallelism error of the X/Y axis motion guides should be controlled within 0.05 mm to prevent placement offset in later production.

Perform multiple measurements and fine adjustments
During the adjustment process, several rounds of measurement and fine-tuning are necessary. After each adjustment, recheck the level in all directions and confirm the overall stability of the equipment to avoid local shaking or residual tilt.

Adapt to the floor environment to prevent deviation
Pick-and-place machines typically weigh between 1 and 3 tons. The installation floor should have a load-bearing capacity of at least 3 tons per square meter, and the concrete thickness is recommended to be 150 mm or more. For vibration-sensitive models, anti-vibration pads or an independent foundation should be used to reduce micro-displacement that may affect levelness. For non-standard mounting plates, anti-vibration pads, or custom anchor components used in these installations, Hansheng Automation can provide machining based on customer drawings.
