Tobacco filling machines can be generally divided into two types: tobacco feeders for handling loose cut tobacco and cigarette-making machines for forming filled cigarettes. Their internal structures differ significantly.
1. Internal Structure of a Tobacco Feeder
Frame
The frame serves as the overall supporting structure and includes a cylindrical support for mounting rotating and vibrating components.
Power Unit
The power unit consists of a belt-driven motor and a friction wheel motor. The belt motor drives a long shaft to generate vibration, while the friction wheel motor rotates the feeding disc.
Long Shaft
The long shaft passes through the cylindrical support and is coaxial with the support center. It transmits power from the belt motor to the vibration device.
Vibration Device
The vibration device includes an eccentric shaft, eccentric blocks, and four composite springs. It causes the loading tray to vibrate and screen the tobacco.
Loading Tray
The loading tray receives tobacco from the inlet and uses controlled vibration to slide the tobacco downward to the feeding disc.
Feeding Disc
The feeding disc fits over the cylindrical support. Its surface has small holes for screening out impurities, and an outlet at the edge discharges the cleaned tobacco.
Tobacco Inlet and Outlet
The tobacco inlet is located directly above the loading tray, while the outlet is positioned at the edge of the feeding disc.
The eccentric shafts, composite springs, and screen trays in this assembly operate under continuous vibration and are subject to fatigue and surface wear. Hansheng Automation can machine these components from customer drawings, using hardened alloys or suitable surface treatments to maintain stable feeding and screening performance.
2. Internal Structure of a Cigarette-Making Machine
Plastic Bottom Shell and Top Cover
These form the external protective frame of the machine.
Control Circuit Board
The control circuit board is installed on one side and manages machine operation.
Voltage Transformer
The voltage transformer provides the appropriate operating voltage for the motor and control system.
Power Switch and Socket
Located on the other side of the control board, the power switch and socket are used for starting, stopping, and supplying power.
Tobacco Pushing Plate Assembly
This assembly includes a four-corner aluminum frame, a motor, and a pushing plate. It is responsible for compressing and filling tobacco into the forming area.
Tobacco Push Rod Assembly
Mounted above the voltage transformer, the push rod assembly pushes the formed tobacco out of the filling chamber.
Swing Arm Guard Plate Assembly
This component protects the push rod assembly and helps guide its movement during operation.
Tobacco Hopper Assembly
The tobacco hopper stores the cut tobacco. Its side wall is equipped with a cover linkage mechanism and a motor assembly for controlled feeding.
