1. Cleaning and lubrication of core components
1) Cleaning of drug contact parts
Parts that come into direct contact with the drug (e.g., upper and lower capsule holes, sealing guide rings) should be cleaned regularly, and alcohol should be used to clean thoroughly when changing drug batches or when prolonged discontinuation. It is recommended to use a dust-free soft cloth or compressed air to clean the surface of the cam groove line and rollers in the surrounding environment of the cam indexer to prevent the moving parts (such as index dials and needle roller bearings) from being jammed.
2) Lubrication system management
The lubricating oil is replaced every 250-300 hours in the main drive reducer, and the reducer of the powder feeding mechanism is synchronously checked and replenished.
Cam indexer lubrication needs to be treated separately: the first oil change interval is 500-1000 hours of operation (about 5-6 months), and then every 3000 hours or once a year, and the oil port needs to be cleaned and the gear oil (e.g. 90# engine oil) with the right viscosity should be used before oil filling. The contact surface between the cam and the needle bearing is greased weekly, and the index plate drive chain is checked and greased weekly.

2. Transmission system and safety control
1) Safety clutch and load adjustment
If the clutch slips under normal load, the round nut can be moderately tightened to balance protection and operation needs. The transmission components of the cam indexer should be checked synchronously: the coupling and gear meshing clearance should be kept stable, and when abnormal vibration or indexing accuracy is found to be reduced (such as ± 10 wire error), it is necessary to stop the machine for calibration or replace the worn needle roller bearing.
2) Maintenance of vacuum system and indexing accuracy
When adjusting the vacuum separator gap, it is necessary to ensure that the positioning accuracy of the cam indexing table is not affected. If the capsule cap body fails to be separated, in addition to checking the vacuum level, it is also necessary to verify whether the output shaft of the splitter is stable and indexed (if the division is unstable or there is no output, it is necessary to check for cam wear or bearing damage). The circulating water of the vacuum pump is changed every week to clean the filter dirt.
3. Periodic inspection and exception handling
1) Environmental and thermal management
Regularly check the ventilation performance of the axial fan to ensure that the heat dissipation of the inverter is normal. Abnormal handling of cam indexer: If there is abnormal noise, reverse impact or indexing failure, stop the machine immediately and contact the manufacturer for maintenance, and it is forbidden to adjust the axial position without permission.
2) Comprehensive transmission component maintenance
Check the tightness and lubrication of the drive chain every week, and check the tension of the cam driven indexer input/output shaft connections (such as pulleys, sprockets) at the same time to prevent the indexing deviation due to relaxation.
