To disassemble the main shaft and screw of a small mushroom bagging machine, cut off power first, then loosen the fasteners in order, and separate the parts. Do not work with power on.
Safety preparation
Turn off the power and unplug the machine to prevent accidental startup. Clean out residual material inside the machine to avoid interference during disassembly or damage to parts.
Disassembly steps
Remove protective parts: use a screwdriver and wrench to remove the protective cover, guard plate, and fixing bolts around the main shaft and screw so they are fully exposed.
Loosen the screw fasteners: the screw is usually connected to the main shaft by a key and nut. Use an Allen wrench or socket wrench to loosen these fasteners. Keep small parts in one place to prevent loss. If the key, nut, or shaft end is worn and needs replacement to match the site, we can custom machine it according to customer drawings. Separate the screw from the main shaft: after the fasteners are loose, gently shake the screw to loosen it. If the fit is too tight, lightly tap the end with a rubber mallet or wooden mallet to help separation. Do not use excessive force.
Remove the main shaft: if the main shaft needs to be removed, continue to remove the connected pulley, coupling, and other parts, then carefully take out the main shaft.
Operation tips
Prepare a container for the small parts removed. If you have difficulty or are unsure about the operation, check the equipment manual first or contact the manufacturer's technical support. Different models have different structures, so operators should adjust according to the actual structure.
