A whole vegetable washer, hotpot vegetable washer, and multi-function fruit and vegetable washing line is a combined automatic washing system. It handles vegetables, fruits, melons, and other ingredients. It suits small and medium restaurants, central kitchens, and fresh-cut processing plants.

Product overview

Wide application: The line washes whole vegetables such as lettuce, celtuce, cilantro, and spinach, as well as stem vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower. It also handles fruits and melons, including apples, pears, tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes.

Structure and technical advantages

Washing tanks and spray conveyor design: The line has two washing tanks. It uses top spray and a bottom conveyor. Ingredients receive spray and soak washing while moving, which improves cleaning efficiency.

Energy-saving circulating water system: A circulating water system with automatic water level compensation is included. It offers automatic and manual refill modes. Water level is adjustable within a set range. This saves water and adapts to different cleaning needs.

Adjustable spray intensity: Spray intensity is variable-frequency controlled. The water tank uses air-pressure water level control to keep the pump safe. Operators can set spray intensity by ingredient type and soil level. This maintains cleaning results without damaging ingredients.

Body material: The machine uses food-grade 304 stainless steel. It meets food hygiene requirements and prevents secondary contamination.

Optional extensions: Available options include ozone sterilization, integration with a fresh-cut processing line, an air-drying UV sterilization line, and automatic weighing, sorting, and packing equipment. Users can choose options based on actual needs to improve practicality and production efficiency.

Wide application: The configuration balances cleaning power and ingredient protection. It suits cleaning tasks from small restaurants to central kitchens and fresh-cut plants.

Working principle

Top high-pressure spray: Nozzles at different angles form fan or column water jets. They hit the surface of produce and remove stubborn dirt, pesticide residue, and insect eggs. Multiple angles help water reach all parts.

Bottom strong bubble combination washing: The bottom uses strong bubble washing that covers the full conveyor width. An air compressor injects high-pressure air into the water tank. Spray pipes wash the material. Dense bubbles form. When bubbles collapse, the impact scrubs gaps in produce. Water tumbling provides 360° cleaning without dead spots.

Conveyor transport and intensity adjustment: Material soaks and washes on the conveyor belt and moves forward slowly. Spray and bubble intensity can be adjusted for different products. Delicate fruits can use lower water intensity. Vegetables with heavy surface soil can use stronger washing.

Hansheng Automation can machine custom stainless steel conveyor parts, spray nozzles, bubble pipes, and food-grade fixtures from customer drawings, in single pieces or small batches.

Applications

Whole vegetable washing

Fresh-cut processing and hotpot restaurants: The line washes whole vegetables. It removes mud from leaf folds of baby cabbage, lettuce, spinach, and similar greens. It also removes insect eggs from gaps in broccoli and cauliflower. Cleaning efficiency is several times higher than traditional soaking, which saves time and labor.

Fruit and melon washing

Multiple fruit types: It washes apples, pears, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and other fruits and melons. It removes wax residue on peels and dirt around the stems of grapes and strawberries. Bubble impact does not damage fruit skin, so appearance and quality are maintained.

Fresh-cut plant integration: It can be combined with leafy vegetable fresh-cut lines, root vegetable fresh-cut lines, and mixed fruit and vegetable fresh-cut lines. Equipment can be customized to specific needs, which improves automation and production efficiency.

Multi-industry use: It suits supermarkets, fresh-cut distribution, and farmers markets. It also fits restaurants, Chinese chain restaurants, and breakfast chains. Prisons, schools, military units, corporate canteens, central kitchens, and meal management companies can also use it. It meets ingredient washing needs for different business sizes and types.
