Milk tablet production uses equipment in four groups: raw material processing, forming, drying, and packaging. The right equipment set depends on output, product shape, and whether the process starts from milk powder or reconstituted milk.

Raw Material Processing Equipment

Sugar Melting Kettle

A stainless steel jacketed kettle is used, with a stirring unit. Capacity is selected according to output, with 100 to 500 L being common.

Homogenizer

Working pressure should reach 20 to 25 MPa. Throughput should match the capacity of the sugar melting kettle.

Vacuum Concentrator

Evaporation capacity should be at least 50 kg/h, with a vacuum level of -0.08 to -0.09 MPa. This unit is used when milk powder is reconstituted.

Forming Equipment

Rotary Tablet Press

Output ranges from 200 to 800 tablets per minute. Pressure range is 5 to 50 kN. Domestic brands such as Tianxiang and Jianan are often used.

Molds

Molds are made of food-grade stainless steel. A single mold costs about RMB 200 to 500. Shape and thickness determine the price. Hansheng Automation can machine tablet press molds and replacement wear parts to customer drawings when a custom shape or thickness is required.

Drying Equipment

Hot Air Circulating Oven

Temperature control range is 40 to 120 C, with a temperature variation of ±2 C. Capacity is calculated by the number of drying trays.

Fluid Bed Dryer

This unit suits large-scale production. Water evaporation can reach 100 kg/h.

Packaging Equipment

Automatic Packaging Machine

A vertical packaging machine runs at 40 to 120 bags per minute. A metal detector is required, with detection precision of at least Φ0.8 mm.

Inkjet Printer

The printer must meet GB 7718 food safety labeling requirements.

Maintenance and Replacement Parts

Regular maintenance should cover the homogenizer valves, vacuum seals, tablet press punches and dies, oven air circulation, and packaging line sensors. Worn molds or misaligned press tooling will affect tablet weight and shape consistency. When replacement components are needed, Hansheng Automation can machine non-standard parts to drawing.

Our precision custom machining capability is not limited to milk tablet production. Hansheng Automation also produces parts for tobacco packaging machinery, medical devices, and filling machinery, along with precision components for yachts and RC cars. From single parts to small batch runs, we machine to customer drawings and deliver parts for assembly.
