Working Principle of the Filling Machine Heating System
A filling machine heating system usually includes a main heater. It heats the material during filling so the material reaches a suitable filling temperature. Temperature sensors such as RTDs monitor the heating temperature in real time. The control system compares the measured value with the preset range and automatically switches the heater on or off.
In normal production, if the main heater temperature falls one degree below the preset value, the system triggers an alarm and automatically jumps to the exhaust step. This prevents low temperature from affecting product quality.
For equipment builders and maintenance teams, Hansheng Automation can machine custom heater housings, sensor brackets, filling nozzles, and metering blocks from customer drawings in single pieces or small batches, with materials and surface treatment selected for heat, wear, and product contact requirements.
Working Process of the Filling Machine
Preparation: Before filling begins, clean and sterilize the filling machine to ensure hygiene. Prepare the material to be filled and heat it to a suitable filling temperature.
Filling: The material enters the filling machine through pipes. A precise metering system controls the amount for each fill. The filling head injects the material into packaging containers such as bottles or cans.
Sealing: After filling, the sealing device seals the containers to prevent leakage during storage and transport.
Inspection and packaging: Sealed containers pass through an inspection system to check seal integrity and material overflow. Qualified containers are sent to the packaging line for packing, labeling, and other operations.
CIP cleaning: After filling is completed or before switching to a different material, the filling machine needs CIP (clean-in-place) cleaning. The CIP system automatically cleans all surfaces that contact the product, including tank inner walls and pipe inner walls, ensuring equipment hygiene and avoiding cross-contamination.
Notes
The working condition of the filling machine heating system directly affects the quality and stability of the filled material. Therefore, during daily operation, check and maintain the heating system regularly to ensure normal operation. At the same time, strictly follow operating procedures to ensure the safety and efficiency of the filling process.
