A laser cutting machine system consists of a laser generator, beam delivery components, a worktable (machine tool), a microcomputer numerical control cabinet, a chiller, and a computer with hardware and software.

Machine tool main body
This is the mechanical part of the laser cutting machine. It realizes X, Y, and Z axis movement and includes the cutting worktable. The worktable holds the workpiece and moves accurately according to the control program, usually driven by servo motors.

Laser generator
The device that produces the laser source. For laser cutting, except in a few cases using YAG solid-state lasers, most use CO2 gas lasers with high electro-optical conversion efficiency and high output power. Laser cutting requires high beam quality, so not all lasers can be used for cutting.

External beam path
Reflecting mirrors direct the laser in the required direction. To prevent beam path failure, all mirrors are covered with protective housings, and clean positive-pressure shielding gas is fed in to protect the lenses from contamination. A good lens focuses a beam with no divergence angle into a very small spot.

CNC system
It controls the machine tool for X, Y, and Z axis movement and also controls the laser output power.

Voltage stabilizer
It is connected between the laser, CNC machine tool, and power supply system. Its main function is to prevent interference from the external power grid.

Cutting head
It mainly includes the cavity, focusing lens holder, focusing lens, capacitive sensor, and assist gas nozzle. The cutting head drive moves the cutting head along the Z axis according to the program. It consists of a servo motor and transmission parts such as a lead screw or gear. We can machine custom nozzles, focusing lens holders, fixtures, and other precision parts for laser cutting machines from customer drawings, for single-piece or low-volume production.

Control console
It controls the working process of the entire cutting system.

Chiller
It cools the laser generator. Cooling water carries away excess heat to keep the laser generator working normally. The chiller also cools the external beam path mirrors and focusing lens to ensure stable beam transmission quality and prevent lens deformation or cracking from excessive temperature.

Gas cylinders
These include the laser cutting machine working medium cylinder and assist gas cylinder. They supply industrial gas for laser oscillation and assist gas for the cutting head.

Air compressor and air storage tank
They provide and store compressed air.

Air cooling dryer and filter
They supply clean, dry air to the laser generator and beam path to keep the path and mirrors working normally.

Exhaust and dust removal machine
It extracts smoke and dust produced during processing and filters them so exhaust emissions meet environmental protection standards.

Slag discharge machine
It removes edge scraps and waste produced during processing.

Our custom precision component machining capability is not limited to laser cutting equipment. Beyond cutting nozzles, focusing lens holders, fixtures, and protective lens holders, we also machine yacht precision components, RC car structural parts, medical device parts, and non-standard parts for food machinery, textile machinery, and printing machinery. Hansheng Automation works from customer drawings and production quantities to deliver single-piece or low-volume precision machining.
