Powder packaging machines generally perform stably when packaging materials with larger particle sizes, and the bag shape remains neat. However, when metering and packaging fine powders between 100 and 400 mesh, the sealing area can easily become contaminated by residual dust, resulting in weak or incomplete seals. This leads to powder leakage, loss of both material and packaging bags, and higher production costs.

Weak sealing is a typical challenge in the practical application of powder packaging machines. It is mainly related to dust dispersion during metering and feeding, contamination of the sealing area, and insufficient dust removal. To effectively improve this problem, structural optimization is needed at every stage from metering to sealing, especially the sealing performance of connections between the hopper and the metering screw, the stability of the feeding path, and the coordination of the dust extraction structure.

To address this issue, some equipment designs strengthen the seals between the hopper and the metering screw, reduce dust escape, and incorporate more effective dust removal structures so that the powder enters the packaging bag more steadily. This reduces dust residue in the sealing area and improves seal quality. Sealing connectors, dust removal interfaces, and protective plates in the sealing area often need to be custom-designed according to the specific machine model.

For structural components such as sealing flanges, connecting bases, dust extraction pipe fittings, and sealing area protective plates, Hansheng Automation provides custom machining based on customer drawings. These parts can support overall machine improvements and help reduce powder leakage when packaging fine powder materials.
